Tobii strengthens its presence in the UK
Tobii Technology is the market leader for eye controlled communication devices as well as for other solutions relating to Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Tobii Technology is strengthening its position in the United Kingdom, with the hiring of two individuals with extensive experience in the industry. The UK organization will support the resellers of Tobii’s AAC products in the UK with sales, marketing and training.
Hector Minto joins Tobii as the Sales Manager for Assistive Technology in the UK. Mr. Minto has more than 13 years of experience in the AAC and Assistive Technology industry from companies such as Possum, Toby Churchill and QED.
“My personal passion is engaging with people of all abilities and maximizing their potential. I have worked with very high profile clients such as Professor Stephen Hawking and been able to engage with him in exactly the same way as a young child starting with AAC. I am extremely proud and passionate about what we do and enjoy nothing more than seeing my AAC clients achieve their full potential,” says Hector Minto.
Rob Gregory also joins Tobii as a local sales representative. Prior to this position he has been working for the assistive technology company, Possum.
Lisa Oosthuizen will continue to work out of the UK, focusing on training and education for Tobii products; she also supports the resellers in this role.
Tobii Technology will participate in the Communication Matters event in Leicester, from September 20th to the 22nd. You are welcome to stop by and meet the local team in the exhibitors’ area.
