Funding and Rental

The information on these pages is meant to serve as a starting point for processing your funding request if you live in the US. Tobii will work with you to process your claim through your chosen form of health insurance.

Tobii SGDs (Speech Generating Devices) are covered by Medicare and all other public benefits programs, including Medicaid, Tricare and the VA, and by private health based funding programs: insurers and health plans.

Funding Resources for USA

If you live in the US then the information you find on these pages will help you through the funding process. Here you will find funding guidelines for families and Speech and Language Pathologists (SLP), sample forms and information on renting a device and much more.

First - To start learning about the funding process. Some great information can be found in our funding guides or by viewing our funding timeline.

Second - in order to obtain funding for AAC devices through private health insurance, Medicaid or Medicare, you will need to submit the required information and documents to our Funding Department. We'll help you with that process. You can download the complete funding package in either Word of PDF format, using the links to the right.
