2015

Digital Trends Top Tech of CES - Tobii Glasses 2

During CES 2015 Tobii was awarded the Digital Trends Top Tech of CES Award in the 'Cool Tech' category for Tobii Glasses 2

Digital Trends Top Tech of CES - SteelSeries Sentry

Tobii's partner SteelSeries took home the Digital Trends award in the Gaming category for the SteelSeries Sentry, which is powered by Tobii's eye tracking technology. 

TechGage - Best of CES 2015

Awarded to the SteelSeries Sentry which is powered by Tobii's eye tracking technology. The Sentry was awarded Techgage's Best of CES 2015. 

2014

Red Herring Global: Top 100 Winner

Tobii has been awarded The Red Herring Top 100 award which highlights the most exciting startups from Asia, Europe and the Americas.

Universum top 100 employer

Tobii has again been awarded the honor being a Universum top 100 employers nominated by students and young professionals. This year we are ranked #34 in Sweden's best employers. 

International CES Innovations 2014 Design & Engineering award  

Tobii was awarded the prestigious CES Innovations Design & Engineering Award in the accessible technologies category for the EyeMobile solution. 

2013

Tobii recently recieved the TechTour Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the Innovation Award.

Tobii received the award for Human Machine Interface & Safety at GP Bullhound Connect 2013.

2012

Swedish Innovation Award

Tobii Technology has been awarded Swedish Innovation Award for its world class technology for eye tracking. The prize was instituted by Business Week and retailers, with Almega and VINNOVA as partners.

European Business Awards National Champion

Awarded for innovation, business excellence and sustainability.

Bully Award: winner

The Bully Award is honoring Europe’s leading technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) companies. For the second consecutive year Tobii is a Longhorns winner awarding post Series A firms; growth stage companies.

Red Herring Top 100 Europe Award: finalist

The global media company Red Herring nominates Tobii for the Red Herring EMEA 100 for the fourth year in a row.

Red Dot Design Award: winner

Tobii Glasses, a head-mounted eye tracker from Tobii Technology, wins the prestigious red dot design award, one of the most renowned international product design competitions.

2010

Nordic Tech Tour 2010SIME Grand Prize: winner

Tobii Technology is awarded the prestigious SIME Grand Prize 2010 for being the company with the most innovative technology concept or online consumer offering. SIME is northern Europe’s largest Internet and digital business opportunity event.

Red Herring EMEA 100: winner

The global media company Red Herring selects Tobii as a winner of the Red Herring EMEA 100 for the third year in a row.

Emerging101: first place

Tobii is ranked Sweden’s most successful enterprise by the business site, Emerging101. The site lists Sweden’s most accomplished young enterprises in technology and IT. The ranking is based on the most recent annual sales figures. In addition, the company must be younger than 10 years and have its own product or service with global market potential.

2009

Ahrens Rapid Growth rankingAhrens Rapid Growth ranking: Third place

With an average growth rate of 88.34% the past six years, Tobii Technology ranked third on the list of Sweden’s fastest growing companies between 2002 and 2008.

Deloitte Rankings, Sweden Technology Fast 50*: ninth place

Tobii takes ninth place in the Sweden technology Fast 50 by Deloitte for the second year in a row.

Red Herring Global 100: finalist

The global media company Red Herring selects Tobii as a finalist in Red Herring Global 100, an annual award given to the top 100 private technology companies worldwide.

European Tech Tour Selection

Tobii is selected as one of Sweden’s top 25 companies at the Tech Tour visit to Sweden. The European Tech Tour brings together Europe’s top emerging technology companies and introduces them to European and global players for potential investments, partnerships or mergers and acquisitions activities.

SIME Awards: Third place

SIME is Northern Europe’s largest internet and digital business opportunity event. Tobii is awarded third price in the category “SIME Rising Star of the North.”

2008

Export Hermes 2008Export Hermes: Winner (presented by the Export Development Foundation)

Tobii Technology has successfully developed and commercialized brand-new technology for controlling computers using eyes only. Founded in 2001, Tobii has since shown very rapid revenue growth.

Deloitte Rankings, Sweden Technology Fast 50: ninth place

With revenue growth of 2404% between 2003 and 2007, Tobii is awarded a top ten position in the Sweden Technology Fast 50 – Deloitte’s prestigious annual ranking of the fastest-growing technology companies in Sweden.

Red Herring EMEA 100: winner

The global media company Red Herring selects Tobii as a winner of Red Herring EMEA 100, an award given to the top 100 private technology companies based in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region each year.

Teh Technology Star 2008The technology star, “Teknikstjärnan”: winner

Tobii is awarded Teknikstjärnan 2008 by the Swedish technical magazine Dagens Teknik.

The Grand Award of Design: winner

Tobii eye-controlled LCD screens are awarded the Grand Award of Design 2008, by the Association of Swedish Engineering Industries, in association with The Swedish Industrial Design Foundation, and The Swedish Society of Crafts and Design. The jury assesses commercial success based on innovation, product customization, usefulness, ergonomics and eco-requirements.

Dataföreningen’s diamante: winner

Tobii is awarded Dataföreningens diamant 2008 for “The innovative company of the year”.

2007

Deloitte rankingsDeloitte Rankings, Fast 500 Award, EMEA: Eighth place

With revenue growth of 11,256% from 2002-2006, Tobii is number eight in the international EMEA ranking Deloitte Technology Fast 500.

Deloitte Rankings, Fast 50 Award, Sweden: Winner

With revenue growth of 11,256%, Tobii receives first prize in Deloitte’s prestigious annual ranking of the fastest-growing technology companies in Sweden.

The Optronic Award: Winner

Trade industry organization Swedeoptronics gives Tobii the Optronic Award 2007. Tobii receives the award for its groundbreaking eye tracking technology, which has been successfully launched to the global market in a number of different applications.

Microsoft Ingenuity Award 2007Microsoft’s Ingenuity Point Competition: Winner

Tobii is awarded first prize in the Microsoft Ingenuity Point Competition in the healthcare category. The Ingenuity Point contest recognizes independent software vendors who develop solutions and make a positive impact in healthcare, education and environmental sustainability.

The Electronic Award: Winner

Tobii is awarded the Electronic Award 2007 by the IM Association in Sweden, the Swedish Association of Electronics Industries and the industry magazine Elektronik i Norden.

The World Class Company Award: Winner

Tobii is appointed “World Class Company” by the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce Magazine, awarding Swedish companies that stand out in an international perspective.

2006

Deloitte Rankings, Sweden Technology Rising Stars: fifth place

With revenue growth of 760%, Tobii is number five in Deloitte’s prestigious annual ranking of the fastest-growing young technology companies in Sweden.

2005

Entrepreneurs of the Year: Winner

Tobii receives the “Entrepreneurs of the Year” award from ALMI for its successful work in developing and marketing a new technology within the field of eye tracking.

Deloitte Rankings, Sweden Technology Rising Stars: second place

With revenue growth of 2560%, Tobii is number two in Deloitte’s prestigious annual ranking of the fastest-growing young technology companies in Sweden.

2002

SKAPA Award: winner

Tobii receives the SKAPA Award, Sweden’s most prestigious scholarship for innovation, in memory of Alfred Nobel. Founded in 1886, SUF, the Swedish Inventors’ Association is the world’s oldest inventors’ association and Sweden’s only national professional organization for inventors. SUF is a member of IFIA, the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations.

 

*Deloitte is one of the world’s leading auditing and consulting companies and the organizer of the Technology Fast 500 EMEA, an annual ranking of the fastest-growing technology companies in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The Technology Fast 500 EMEA also recognizes each country’s Rising Stars: 25 of the country’s fastest-growing young technology companies. These 25 companies have met the same criteria as the Fast 500 but have been in business no more than four years. Revenue growth is based over three years (2002–2004).
