The Tobii Toolbox for MATLAB provides an interface between the MATLAB numerical computation program and the Tobii TX Series Eye Trackers. By using the Tobii Software Development Kit (SDK) in a Windows environment, researchers can run eye tracking experiments directly from MATLAB and take full advantage of the stimulus generation and data-analysis power provided by MATLAB and associated toolboxes.
Eye tracking functions
The Tobii Toolbox for MATLAB provides the basic functions needed to run eye tracking experiments from MATLAB. It allows the user to track the status of the subject, conduct calibration, collect gaze data (starting and stopping of recordings), and synchronize events with gaze data. The Visual C++ module contains a graphical interface that displays the current eye tracking status as well as the calibration results.
