Education and Implementation Specialist

Tobii Dynavox, is the world leader in engineering and manufacturing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices and special education solutions. We have an immediate need for an Education & Implementation Specialist. This position can be based in Pittsburgh, PA or remotely and requires approximately 50% travel across North America.

Our devices are used by both children and adults in the clinical, work, home and school settings to assist our customers overcome speech and communication disabilities resulting from autism, stroke, ALS and other conditions.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Education & Implementation Specialist provides training and develops application-based tools for customers and sales force. It also provides subject matter expertise into product and development plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/COMPETENCIES:

  • Acts as a spokesperson for the company on both clinical and technical subjects
  • Provides subject matter expertise into product and development plans
  • Develops application based tools for customers
  • Trains internal and external customers
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology (with CCC) or Special Education
  • 3 or more years of experience as a Special Educator or Speech Language Pathologist with an emphasis on Assistive Technology is preferred

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS:

  • ASHA CCC-SLP

  • Must be willing & able to travel 50% of time
  • Additional experience with the following is a plus:
    • Proficiency in our full line of Boardmaker solutions
    • Familiarity with our full line of Mayer-Johnson solutions
