Job position: Account Manager, Research Services

Account Manager - selling cutting edge research services to leading manufactures and top-tier research companies

Tobii Pro North America is currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Account Manager to join our Pro Insight Research Services team, which specializes in eye tracking and analysis of consumer visual behavior. In this role, you will actively generate leads and build a pipeline of potential marketing research and user-experience research clients throughout North America. You will report to the Director of Client Services and work closely with Pro Insight’s Research Director to build client relationships and develop study proposals. You will energetically seek out and engage with clients and vendors to explain the benefits of eye tracking research, and you will work to meet their needs from first contact through the sale through establishing long-term client relationships.

As the ideal candidate, you are very enthusiastic, highly organized, and have strong personal drive. You are focused and motivated to sell. You enjoy working in a very dynamic and fast-growing company, where you not only have a great amount of influence but also have considerable responsibility and high expectations with regard to results, achievements, and setting your own initiatives. You possess a background in consumer research, experience in business-to-business sales, and an aptitude for technology.

Minimum and preferred requirements for the position:

  • 2-5 years of sales experience in Marketing Research and/or UX/Usability Services
  • Understanding of Marketing Research, UX/Usability Methodology and results and familiarity with important players in the industry (Ipsos, Kantar, Nielsen, etc.)
  • Competency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office
  • Team oriented, with a desire to work with a large degree of autonomy
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time
  • Experience identifying opportunities, selling to, or working with CPG companies, market research agencies or advertising/media firms is a plus
