We are looking for an “early stage researcher” (ESR) to work in an exciting project funded by the EU. Together with 13 other ESR, and many senior experts coming from 8 core partners, the ENRICH network will provide excellent training and networking opportunities in the field of speech enrichment and speech generation.
As our candidate you will be hosted by Tobii AB in Stockholm and work on improving the quality of our speech generating devices. At the same time, you will receive extensive training with a unique blend of academic and industrial skills, and will be put on the road towards your PhD.
The position is full-time with a fixed three year duration. You will be working in the "Horizon 2020 Marie Curie European Training Network" (H2020 MSCA ETN) ENRICH on speech synthesis and signal processing, to research how to make generated speech in assistive products more comprehensible.

Important: Since this is an EU ETN position highlighting intra-European mobility, at time of hiring you must have resided outside of Sweden for more than 24 months during the past 36 months! Also, at the date of recruitment you must be within the first 4 years of your research carreer and must not have a doctoral degree. The application deadline is September 30, 2016. The actual recruitment process will be performed in two stages. In Stage 1 you will interview with us in October 2016. If things look good you will then be invited to join Stage 2, the network’s kick-off event near London from November 14 to November 16, 2016, and meet the network partners of the project (expenses covered). Your actual start of work is expected to happen January 2017.
