1. Eye movement classification for wearable eye trackers
This thesis work will investigate how existing eye movement classification algorithms for remote eye trackers can be modified to better accomodate for the characteristics in wearable eye tracker data. This includes using and adopting solutions for head rotation compensation. It could potentially also involve using data from the existing Tobii Pro Real World Mapping™ analysis. The thesis will result in a prototype algorithm implementation as well as tools for evaluating the performance of the developed algorithms.
This project aims at master students in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering, with strong background in algorithms and applied mathematics. Excellent MATLAB programming skills is a must, proficiency in C# is meriting.
