Tobii and MSI have teamed up to accelerate the development of eye tracking enabled gaming products, commencing with a prototype of a fully integrated eye tracking notebook. 

The partnership signifies that both companies are committed to the greater proliferation of eye tracking in consumers' everyday lives.

Ubisoft implements eye tracking in Assassin's Creed Rogue for PC

Ubisoft's multimillion-dollar 'Assassin's Creed' franchise incorporated eye tracking technology into its Assassin's Creed Rogue for PC game - showcasing the next evolution of human interfaces in gaming.

Using the Tobii EyeX, Ubisoft's development team was able to implement and test Assassin's Creed Rogue's eye tracking capability in nine days, making implementation of eye tracking fast and cost-efficient.

Eye Tracking VR initiative and collaboration with Starbreeze

Starbreeze and Tobii are collaborating to combine eye tracking and VR by integrating Tobii's eye tracking into the StarVR head-mounted display (HMD).

With integrated Tobii eye tracking, StarVR can use foveated rendering (Gaze Prioritized Graphics), to display the highest resolution graphics specifically in the region the user is currently looking, while simultaneously displaying lower resolution graphics to areas on the screen in the user’s peripheral vision.
