I was curious about Tobii and the cutting-edge technology already while studying at University. Being a global company with products for a number of different markets, I also saw opportunity to move between teams and businesses to explore different paths. While you really have the opportunity to try new things at Tobii, you are also expected to have the drive and motivation to make it happen. In addition to working with very cool technology, I enjoy working with colleagues that come from all around the world bringing different experiences and perspectives. Tobii also supports a wide variety of social meet-ups and activities, which creates many occasions to get to know colleagues with similar interests.
I was working for one of Tobii’s first commercial customers when I got the opportunity to join Tobii Pro. I started up the consultancy services that today includes some 30 people in Sweden, China, Japan, USA and the UK. We are working together to help our customers conduct research studies with eye tracking. We have a lot of fun and work hard as a team.
I have been given a lot of freedom to develop Tobii Pro Insight Services, and encouraged and trusted to realize many new ideas. I also get to work with amazing customers around the globe – Google, Ipsos and Unilever – to name a few. The opportunity to do this in a very relaxed, yet innovative environment together with dedicated colleagues, is really quite unique.
When I first joined, I saw a unique chance to work with both hardware and software. I was attracted by the possibility to combine both worlds and contribute to the complete user experience.
During my years at Tobii, I have worked on many different projects and been a part of designing eye tracking experiences that have never been seen before.
