Account Manager

Key Result Area

Part of the Tobii Dynavox CN Assistive Technology (AT) team and the Global Tobii Dynavox AT Eurow team, direct report to the Tobii Dynavox CN AT Sales Manager (James Wang) and organizationally belonging to Tobii Electronics Technology Suzhou Co. Ltd.

Work Tasks/Responsibilities

Primary tasks include

  • Sales and budget targets responsibility for the assigned resellers and area/territory in China (resellers and/or area may change over time).
  • Responsibility for building up and maintain the AT reseller business network within the area/territory.
  • Actively perform direct sales in the market towards AT related institutions, gov. Organizations, decision makers and other AT influential parties including supporting and managing the AT reseller network.
  • In time gradually be part of building up a Tobii Dynavox CN AT sales organization in China.
  • Responsibility for supporting tender business in cooperation with the local Resellers.
  • Responsibility for managing reseller business together with a Tobii Dynavox CN AT sales organization.
  • Co-organize country meetings and exhibition participations as Tobii Dynavox event and/or as Tobii Dynavox/Reseller events locally in the area/territory as well as nationally when needed.
  • Organize Tobii Dynavox country meetings and exhibition participations.
  • The position includes extensive travelling.

Primary goals for the first year include

  • Together with the Tobii Dynavox CN AT Sales team and Tobii Dynavox AT EUROW team fulfil the sales goals for 2017.
  • Build up and maintain a reseller network within the area/territory assigned.
  • Establish and grow a strong Tobii Dynavox AT presence in the area/territory as well as in the whole CN market.
  • Introduce and establish new product awareness in the market.

Previous experience


  • Experience from working in the Health Care industry (not pharmaceutical) and/or within the Health Care field.
  • Sales experience.


  • Previous experience from working with or in a reseller related position.
  • Previous work in the Assistive Technology field or specifically with AAC.
  • Experience from Public tender business.



  • Higher education.
  • English command in writing and speech.


  • Speech and language therapist (SLT) education.
  • Education related to marketing & sales and/or health care



  • Good computer literacy, with a god command of the Microsoft Office Package.


  • High interest and good technical understanding.

Authorization for this role

  • Plan and execute sales activities in the area/territory.


  • Position will be based in Guangzhou/Shenzhen reporting to Sales Manager in AT sales Shanghai sales office.
  • Initially this is a home office based position
  • Employee will belong to Tobii China, Suzhou organization.
  • Initial focus area for sales activities will be in the Guangdong Province area and assigned area/territory
