We’ve built a vibrant ecosystem for PC gaming and we are now rapidly expanding into the VR and AR space. If you want to be one of the pioneers that take eye-based interactions to new, exciting mass markets, we may have just the job for you!

We are pushing eye tracking performance to transform the way humans interact with machines. Do you have what it takes to push eye tracking to the next level? We are looking for a Data Process Lead to join us on this mission in making it real.

Efficient data acquisition and management is an essential strategic asset and as Data Process Lead this will play a key part in achieving this.

As part of our algorithm team, you will be at the heart of our technology. Your job will be valuable for improving the state-of-the-art algorithms that make Tobii the world leaders in eye tracking.

Role and responsibilities:

Data annotation is the process of marking data for use as input to machine learning algorithms. In this role, you will be a member of the Tobii Platform R&D department with responsibility for data and annotation. You will work closely with colleagues in both Sweden and other places in the world.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Coordinate the team’s work with infrastructure and data acquisition teams
  • Manage an on-site data collection and annotation team
  • Coordinate and direct the work of an off-site data collection and annotation team
  • Plan and prioritize the data collection and annotation work in the team and between projects
  • Forecast and plan data needs with different R&D teams
  • Define data needs and ensure they match product requirements
  • Continuously improve our data collection, quality and management processes

Who we are looking for:

To be successful in this role, and at Tobii, we believe you have

  • Experience from project management or similar coordination role
  • Excellent inter-personal and communicative skills
  • The ability to organize, plan and coordinate work
  • A technical understanding and interest

If you have experience working with multi-cultural teams both on and off-site, it is considered a great plus. Industry or academic experience from fields such as IT, telecom, Big Data or Machine Learning is also regarded as a plus.

As a person, we believe you are a communicator and someone who makes an impact. You are proactive, organised and have the ability to coordinate and lead the work of a skilled team.

At Tobii, we believe that our diversities are what strengthen us. Regardless if you walk around in high heels or prefer to go barefoot; if you’re a huge gamer or if you haven’t played a game since Pacman was released; if Stockholm is your where you grew up or if your roots are somewhere else. It is the pride and happiness in what we do that make us come together. Our joint passion for sharing new ideas and our belief in our products is what makes us a unique workplace and what makes us proud of calling this our Tobii family.
