Eye Tracking System Architects

We are looking for a System Engineer to join the Tobii family!

As our Eye Tracking System Engineer, you will be part of our ambitious system team and play a key role in many different projects. You will also have the chance to work with all of our teams on Tobii Tech platform, realizing ideas and technical solutions into the end product.

The role and responsibilities

In this role, you will work tightly with project managers and product owners and act as the key technical adviser in different projects. You will meet with people from all of Tobii, and work closely with different project disciplines such as optronic, algorithms, firmware, mechanics, electronics, operations and software.

Your days will be filled with

  • Coordinating the team effort, e.g. helping to plan the agile work and set sprint goals
  • Finding solutions between technical feasibility and customer needs
  • Supporting the organization by identifying needs that overlap different teams or competence groups
  • Specify system requirements for the product
  • Be part of the project steering group and attend customer meetings
  • Influence the future of human-machine interaction – by meeting with customers and work closely with management and other business units.

Who we are looking for

To be successful in this role and at Tobii, we believe that you

  • Have at least 3 years of work experience with one or several of the following areas: System development, optronics, algorithms, firmware development, mechatronics and/or eye tracking development
  • Have a sharp mind and a curious, flexible and communicative mindset. For this position personality is key!
  • Have a M.Sc. in Physics, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or equivalent

If you have worked with Polarion it is considered a merit. Previous experience with eye tracking development is also a plus! At Tobii we are all about working together to bring our customers the best products possible - so you need to be keen on to teach as well as to learn from your colleagues.
