Junior Research Manager, Research Services

Tobii Pro North America is currently looking for an enthusiastic Junior Research Manager to join our Pro Insight Research Services team, which specializes in eye tracking/attention analysis of consumer behavior and user experience. In this role, you will work out of our US headquarters in Northern Virginia, managing marketing research and UX projects for clients throughout North America. You will report to the Research Director, and - working closely with the Pro Insight team - you will oversee fieldwork, interpret data, and create reports presenting compelling and actionable recommendations to a diverse range of clients, such as Facebook, Anheuser Busch, Toyota, P&G, Google, and many others.

As the ideal candidate, you are very adaptable, highly organized, and have a creative approach to challenges. You are focused and possess strong written and oral communication skills. You enjoy working in a very dynamic and fast-growing company, where you not only have a great amount of influence but also have considerable responsibility with regard to results, achievements, and setting your own initiatives. You possess education/background in psychology, marketing research methods, or consumer research and have a high aptitude for technology.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, marketing research, consumer psychology, statistics, mathematics, educational psychology research, or similar field
  • Exceptional attention to detail; ability to successfully manage multiple projects and tasks
  • Team-oriented but with a desire to work with a large degree of autonomy
  • Willingness to travel 20% of the time
  • Excellent oral and (especially) written communication skills and a client-focused attitude
  • Advanced proficiency with office software (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)

Preferred Requirements:

  • o    2+ years vendor and/or client primary market research experience
  • o    Experience with Marketing Research and/or UX Methodology and results
  • o    Proven ability to quickly take raw data and create insightful PowerPoint presentations                                
  • o    Experience working with eye tracking as a research methodology
  • o    Experience in statistical research methods and software (SPSS, Matlab)
  • o    Advanced qualitative or quantitative moderating experience in real-world settings
