Tobii Pro Insight is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Client Services Specialist to join our research consultancy team, which specializes in collection and analysis of consumer visual attention data for commercial clients. In this role, you will accumulate leads and build a pipeline of potential marketing research, user-experience, and professional performance clients throughout North America. You will report to the Senior Research Director to develop client relationships, design research approaches, generate study pricing/proposals, and find innovative ways to help our clients to answer key business questions through our research offerings. You will meet with clients and vendors throughout the country to discuss the benefits of eye tracking research. You will work directly with leads, from first contact through the end of the project and beyond, establishing long-term relationships and consulting on all future research needs. This is a sales position which also allows you to apply your understanding of how best to apply research practices to business objectives.
As the ideal candidate, you are highly organized and have strong personal drive, are focused, and are motivated to create results. You enjoy working in a very dynamic and fast-growing company, where you not only have a great amount of influence but also have considerable responsibility and high-expectations with regard to achievements and the setting of your own initiatives. You should possess a background in marketing research, industrial research, user research, or another type of commercial research, with experience in business-to-business sales and an aptitude for technology.
Minimum and preferred requirements for the position:
-2-5 years of sales experience within the field of marketing research, industrial research, user research, or another type of corporate research
-Understanding of the relevant types of custom research methodology and results
-Competency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office
-Team oriented, with a desire to work in a small organization with a large degree of autonomy
-Willingness to travel 30% of the time
-Experience identifying opportunities, selling to, or working with CPG companies, market research agencies, advertising/media firms, and directly with brands is a plus
-Bonus: Experience with eye tracking research
