Inspire customers to embrace eye tracking as a research tool! We are seeking an experienced (technical) Sales Lead to manage and grow the team and define, land and execute against our strategic sales priorities.


This role will be responsible for ensuring high productivity of the DACH-Team and ensuring customer success across our portfolio of offerings and solutions. The successful candidate will combine a solid understanding of (technical) sales, field enablement in a large organization, sales and marketing dynamics with the ability to map market segment requirements and corporate resources into a comprehensive (technical) sales productivity and readiness plan. This is a hands-on position with high visibility - the ideal candidate must be willing to “roll up their sleeves” and get things done.

The role and responsibilities


In this role, you will be responsible for sales of our world-leading eye tracking solutions and services to academic institutes and commercial companies in the DACH region. You will both manage a team as well as your own customer accounts to achieve sales targets. You will report to the European Sales Director in Stockholm. You will be responsible for/work with:

  • Managing a sales team of 3-7 account managers and inside sales specialists, in selling towards both academic and commercial markets (universities, research institutes, market research and industrial companies).
  • Mentoring and coaching the team in the daily business as well as in the sales methodology development.
  • Executing a key account strategy together with the sales team towards a defined set of global key accounts.
  • Managing an array of accounts, building relationships with new clients and leading team productivity.
  • Assist in the development of the overall strategic focus and calendar for sales productivity and readiness activities throughout the year
  • Being a relationship builder towards customers, partners and the internal Tobii organization.
  • Market development for the DACH sales territory.
  • Establishing a sales office in the DACH region. Currently, the office is based in Frankfurt but can be relocated. You will be responsible for growing the team at an office location that fits the needs of our business requirements.

We are looking for someone who has

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience where at least 3 have been in a sales manager role.
  • Experience of selling a complex technical solution with a value-based approach.
  • Good technical understanding and an ability to communicate technical matters in a simple way.
  • Excellent cross group collaboration skills.
  • Fluent German speaker and very good command of English.
  • Excellent presentation and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to travel (70-100 days/year).
  • Graduate degree in business, psychology, engineering, marketing, neuroscience or similar field.

We find it to be a strong merit if you have worked with Salesforce, and have experience in selling to or working with FMCG companies, manufacturers and/or universities.
