Tobii Tech focuses on integrating Tobii’s core eye tracking technologies and user experiences into VR/AR headsets, laptops, games, smartphones, cars, and many more platforms and products. We’ve built a vibrant ecosystem for PC gaming and we are now rapidly expanding into the VR and AR space. If you want to be one of the pioneers that take eye-based interactions to new, exciting mass markets, we may have just the job for you!
If the device in front of you had Tobii eye tracking it would know exactly where you are looking while you are using your computer. This opens for new experiences, within games as well as with the device itself.
There has recently been explosive interest around integrating eye tracking into games and devices, and we now need to strengthen our UX team!
Tobii is looking for a Visual designer to create mind-blowing consumer experiences based on eye tracking technology. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about human computer interaction, gaming and emerging technology. Your work will contribute to the success of eye tracking features in games, personal computing and much more.
As our Visual designer, you will work in a team of UX designers and developers. Your role is to see the bigger picture of how and why - while at the same time keeping focus on the details that make the experience. You will contribute both with visual design skills and interaction design skills, on a conceptual level as well as all the way through production. In this role, you will be responsible for the design work in many of our projects – from gaming to sales concepts. To name one of many, your work will enrichen the e-sport with eye tracking.
Another important part of the job is being able to communicate design ideas and artifacts within the team and with stakeholders. Artifacts need to be documented appropriately to maximize the outcome for developers and other UX designers.
We believe you to be a gamer yourself, or have a deep understanding of the gaming world. Self-motivation as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills is also important to be successful in this role. If you have experience with 3D Studio max, Maya and/or Unity that is a great plus. We believe you like to work in a changing environment where you are always encouraged to learn from, and teach others. Since Tobii is an international company we welcome applicants from all over the world, so you need to be fluent in both spoken and written English.
