La technologie de l'eye tracking a permis de faire progresser les méthodes de formation et d'évaluation. Dans la lecture de radiographies ostéo-articulaires, l'eye tracking aide les étudiants en médecine à comprendre des informations visuelles complexes. De même, dans l'enseignement de la réalité augmentée (RA) pour les tâches basées sur les compétences, l'accent est mis sur la structuration des connaissances de l'expert plutôt que sur le choix du support RA. En outre, l'apprentissage tactique basé sur la vidéo bénéficie de techniques de regard guidé, améliorant la compréhension à tous les niveaux d'expertise.

Improving the acquisition of complex tactical knowledge through video presentations has attracted considerable attention. Previous research has aimed to facilitate learning by structuring videos including pointing gestures and guided gaze.
