Event details

Our last webinar on the future of healthcare was held in 2020. Fast forward three years later and the future is now!

Medical care has made significant strides with telehealth services doubling during the pandemic as lifestyles adjusted and digital services improved. Virtual reality (VR) has become a real-world health tool for everything from chronic pain, behavioral health, and even medical training for astronauts in space.

Join us to learn more about how eye tracking has facilitated this progress and continues to enhance healthcare innovations in the following applications:

Medical assessments

  • As a biomarker, eye tracking plays a significant role in providing data for health assessments detecting neurological conditions, diseases, and vision impairments.

Treatment and therapy

  • Accurate eye movement and pupil size measurements in VR applications can identify minute changes in user reaction that provide therapists with detailed feedback and patients with convenient therapy.

Training and education

  • Eye tracking deepens trainee immersion with more natural interactions and collects data that can accurately measure surgical precision and overall performance.

Safety awareness

  • By monitoring ocular activity, eye tracking can identify trainee cognitive state and detect drowsiness to prevent accidents.

There will also be a live Q&A session with a Tobii expert at the end of the session.

I get to help customers integrate eye tracking in their devices and solutions — primarily in the healthcare sector. Personally, I enjoy acting as the bridge between technology and sales, to make sure that customers get what they need, and at the same time ensure that our technology is always the leader in eye tracking.
