Tobii Software Development License Agreement
Tobii offers software development licenses both for commercial and research purposes.
1 . Commercial Development License
This license provides right to develop your software using Tobii eye tracking technology with the intent to commercialize or distribute your eye tracking solution.
You will typically start with a limited commercial development license that allows you to develop your software without commercial use or distribution.
When you are getting ready to launch, we will sign an additional agreement that adds the options for commercial use in a way that suits your business model and need for capabilities, functionalities, support and maintenance, and Medical Use license option.
Under this license we offer the right to store or transfer eye tracking data, provided that you comply with our Eye Tracking Data Transparency Policy.
This license type is only available in combination with Tobii Integration eye tracker products.
2. Research Development License
This license is for research and exploration use at universities, academic institutions or companies wishing to develop eye tracking applications at low scale and with no intention to commercialize.
Under this license we offer the right to store and/or transfer eye tracking data, provided that you comply with our Eye Tracking Data Transparency Policy.
This license type is only available in combination with Tobii Pro eye tracker products. If you wish to get advice on available eye tracking hardware and software products, SDK and API for research purposes please contact us.
