Tobii Nexus
Tobii Nexus software adds intelligent interactivity to your application, working for any user on any device.
Enabling devices to understand user intent, attention, and engagement in real time.
More intuitive interaction, smarter AI experiences, and improved digital wellbeing are quickly becoming expectations, not differentiators, in modern PCs and tablets. As devices evolve, so does the need for them to better understand the people using them.
Eye tracking introduces a fundamentally new input: real-time human attention.
By understanding where users are looking, devices can respond more naturally and intelligently, enabling contextual AI experiences, effortless gaze-based interaction, and faster navigation across applications and content. Instead of relying solely on clicks, touch, or voice, devices gain a deeper layer of awareness that reflects true user intent.
Tobii Nexus to unlock new AI features
By building on Tobii’s webcam eye tracking, the Legion Y900 13 features multimodal AI interaction to improve efficiency when working with a tablet product, and additional features are expected to be released in its upcoming updates.
The webcam eye tracking in the Legion Y900 13 is a custom integration, built on a Qualcomm SoC and enabled using Tobii Nexus, a software-based eye tracking solution that can transform images from standard webcams into real-time eye tracking data. The result is a solution with a very small footprint and low-power execution.
We are very excited to see the first consumer device featuring webcam eye tracking enabled by Tobii Nexus. Lenovo has found a very innovative way of utilizing the possibilities provided by our webcam eye tracking to create value-adding new features to how users can interact with their product.
